Today's photo is an historic shot that I think is very evocative. It's titled "Turning over first sod on homestead," and it was taken outside of Sun River by William J. Lubkin on November 5, 1908. Lubkin was an itinerant photographer working for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, and probably took this photo while documenting the construction of the Sun River Irrigation Project.
