Without a doubt, there are a lot of bars in Montana. Most of them seem to be called "Mint," or "Stockman," but there are lots of other names, too ... including more than a few good Irish ones. That's important for St. Patrick's day, at least.
Here's my nomination for the Montana bar with the best Irish-neon sign: Casey's, up in Whitefish.
Yep, I love old neon signs, and this is definitely a great one! The only thing that made me notice it, though, was the fact that my train was so late getting to Whitefish last month. At 3 AM there weren't too many other lights glowing on Main Street. :)
Whitefish is a very cool town, indeed ... though it's sure changed an awful lot since my time up there. (And not for the better.) I'll always be in love with that part of the world, though ...
I'm a professional historian, though my real passions lie in the art of photography and the freedom of travel. Armed with camera and backpack, I've visited all fifty of the US states ... and a total of 65 countries on six continents.

That's a GREAT sign! I was in WF last summer...wish I had seen this one in person.
