Here's another great old letterhead from The Biggert Collection of Architectural Vignettes -- it's an order from a liquor wholesaler in the little town of Sweet Grass, up on the Canadian border. I suppose one can be forgiven for momentarily wondering if there was a brewery that massive way out in Sweet Grass.
The fact that Sweet Grass even had a liquor distributer is interesting, too. Almost certainly, the company did most of its business in cross-border alcohol sales ... an early counterpart to today's duty-free shop, I suppose.
